Drone Detection
Scalable Countermeasures
Lorica has developed a patent pending AI controlled photoacoustic sensor panel. Approximately the size of a consumer tablet with a wide 105° field of resolution and ultra-high refresh rate, this unit can detect and classify UAV quickly and accurately, unhindered by obstacles or dense foliage.
With the ability to identify targets and calculate trajectories (regardless if the targeted system is following a predetermined or user controlled, erratic flight path) our device can pinpoint incoming drones before they have entered visual range.
Other features include the ability to integrate with existing counter drone systems, 360° detection when arrayed and mounted coaxially, providing seamless target lock between countermeasure systems.
For vehicle mounted applications, our unique 2×2 tripteron rail mounts four units providing a 360° cone of observation with an extremely wide spectrum of resolution, using both sonic and optical sensors to detect drones in their terminal phase of flight. This ensures detection in time to allow existing counter-drone systems to engage even the most maneuverable targets, staying one step ahead of emerging UAV threats. With an AI backbone, every real-world encounter makes the system smarter, faster, and more capable.
