The patent pending SeaSafe system is the most advanced suite of products available  for defending commercial vessels from any number of threats.

Hijackers, pirates, and terrorists are prevented from making contact through the deployment of the Lorica defensive UAV perimeter, providing early warning and intercepting incoming vessels before they become a threat. Long duration, hybrid power system VTOL sUAV form a proprietary mesh data network to maintain overwatch of the vessel with an array of sensors in high threat areas, or can be automatically launched when any type of threat or emergency is detected through conventional means. When an incoming vessel begins an approach, our system calculates an intercept vector to meet that vessel with a suite of drones that range from communications to equipment, to deterrence devices, to our proprietary non-lethal threat neutralization technology. 

SeaSafe allows commercial ships to safely transit high threat areas through non-lethal means of deterrence while collecting high quality actionable intelligence data on malign actors.

Another feature SeaSafe provides are magnetic beacons to be attached to items such as containers, that may have become lost overboard. Dynamic float trackers maintain highly accurate coordinates of lost containers for rapidly recovery.

SeaSafe’s ability to integrate with other Lorica Technologies systems means that UAVs can be rapidly auto-configured for any mission automatically using the Lorica Multi Modal Drone Configuration System (LMMDCS). Mission versatility is achieved by allowing a single airframe to be auto configured  by Lorica AI/ML algorithms working congruently with existing sensors and external data such as weather, likely local languages, and thousands of other factors. These UAVs can be launched, mission-ready, without additional human interaction.

The third element of SeaSafe is the man-overboard safety system. At the moment crew members begin their search, the system will launch three Lorica VTOL wings which will form a network, and begin scanning using a Bayesian calculated by the LMMDCS. Simultaneously a heavy lift drone with lifesaving equipment onboard is deployed and will await a vector to the missing person. Once located, the heavy lift drone will collect biometric data on the individual and transmit it to onboard personnel. Utilizing medical machine vision, this system will determine consciousness and vital data such as body temperature, pulse rate, rate of respiration, and other critical data. For unconscious or critically injured victims, the heavy lift UAV can deliver a rapidly inflating floatation device with an onboard warming element, to ensure the body’s core temperature remains at safe levels.
