Lorica Technologies was initially founded by Christopher Dye in 2021 to design the next generation of FPV drone technology. In 2024 the small home design firm was rapidly expanded when additional Co-Founders Will Bridges, Matt Bianca, Levi Anderson, Daniel Miner, and Lucy Nuchareeporn joined the firm and created the Lorica Technologies of today.

The word Lorica has had meaning in a number of languages throughout history, often referring to a prayer for protection, but an especially relevant meaning was name of breast plate armor a roman centurion wore into battle. Legionnaires trusted this thin line of metal with their lives. We strive to bring that thin lifesaving line into the modern era, as a first, and last, layer of defense.
